  • 010 LOS DELFINES

This spacious building was formerly a single house, which due to its large size was rehabilitated and converted into two houses having duplex distribution. The living room and kitchen are located downstairs, while the bedroom, bathroom and terrace are found upstairs. Access to the entrance is along a typical track that runs through the neighborhood, bordered by small houses and banana plantations. At one end of the building there is a common area for gardens, with terraces and grill offering a relaxed atmosphere with excellent views of the cultivated crops, the sea, Tenerife and El Teide. At the rear both houses have a terrace partially separated by a wall with stunning ocean views.

The district of Lepe, belonging to the municipality of Agulo, is situated on top of a cliff of considerable size and offers the visitor a magnificent view from any point of location. Access can only be done by car via the road along the beach of Hermigua, which offers incomparable views of the same and the old davit. Also if desired, from Agulo the house can be reached on foot, which is a more traditional alternative.

  • 042 CASA DÁVILA

This old house, originally belonging to and lived in by the Señor de los Dávila from which it takes its name, is a wonderful example of both the architectural style and prevailing sobreity of its era. The thick stone walls enclose a spacious interior with large rooms with Canarian pine floors and ceilings. Many original features such as larders and window seats have been preserved and blend well with the more modern, rustic style furniture. The views from all windows and the typical Canarian balcony next to the kitchen are spectacular with clear views of the beach at Hermigua, Tenerife and Teide. Hidden amongst plants, a Canarian patio with wooden gallery provides access to the main entrance.

The house is surrounded on all sides by a large fruit and vegetable garden which can be worked in by guests, should they desire. Lepe falls inside the municipality of Agulo and access is posible via the beach road in Hermigua, the only road access to the area.

The atractive surroundings seen from the patio are the main feature of the house.

Situated between the villages of Las Rosas and La Palmita, areas with an ideal climate for the cultivation of fruit and vegetables, this place gives visitors the chance to use the many footpaths in the area, and to appreciate the high palm trees and generous vegetation typical of this National Park area.
